The country's first IITN Chief Manohar Parikar died on Sunday. The condition of 63-year-old Parikrar, who was suffering from Pancreatic cancer, was very bad for the last two days. His condition became more fragile on Sunday, after which doctors team tried to handle health at his private residence in Doña Paula. But he passed away at around 8 o'clock.

Funeral of Manohar Parikar will be done at 5.00 in the evening. Before this, the body of Parikar from 9.30 am to 10.30 pm will be kept for the last glimpse of the special persons in the BJP office located in Panaji. At 4 pm, the final journey of Parikar will be taken from the Art Academy to Miramar, where his funeral will be done.
